The DATA Trails are open and the groomers are out with Trailmaster drags trying to flatten & widen the base on the trails we packed last week. We hope to have everything groomed and widened by the weekend.
The thin Ice spot on the AV trail has been flagged to avoid someone else dropping into the water. Another attempt will be made this week to flatten and widen this area with sled and or ATV and then the flagging will come down.
There are a number of spots similar to this on the DATA trails that groomers can't cross. Your riding this week combined with the cold temps could make a real difference in getting the groomers safely across these areas in the next week or two.
